Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending.

How do I know if I need therapy?

People often enter counseling when they are feeling overwhelmed. They may seek help as a result of a recent trauma or crisis or they may be ready to address past life traumas such as abuse, loss or illness.
Counseling may be appropriate if the following symptoms are negatively affecting relationships or one’s quality of daily living. Learn more.

Treatment Approach

I am committed to providing you with the best possible care in order to resolve your concerns. However, if appropriate, I will not hesitate to either refer you to someone outside my practice to better accommodate your needs or to consult with them as a part of your on-going therapy.

Personal Philosophy

My approach is based on the belief that life provides us with a series of opportunities for growth. Therapy should be a collaborative venture which means working together towards accomplishing goals that are in line with a client’s values. I encourage self-exploration and self-awareness from a strengths perspective which involves finding sources of success and empowerment to fuel change in current areas of frustration.
